About GameOn Reviews
We have been designing our games review system over the years to try to meet the requirements our users have wanted.
One of the unique features of our review system is that the same game (on the same
platform) can be reviewed more than once by different reviewers
This way you can get a better perspective of a game with multiple points of
view.
Site Navigation
The site has been designed for ease of use.
While the left menu always contains the site navigation, the right menu is related to the review itself with ratings, images, videos and more.
We have tried to keep images to a minimum but currently are looking at adding more thumbnails to each review page as well as previews.
Game Scores
Learning from previous experience, scores can often be hard to get right, to this end we have added the following:
- Playability
- Replayability
- Graphics
- Sound
- Overall
The overall rating is key here. While some games may have bad graphics or sound, which would bring an average score down; in this instance it gives the "reviewer" the freedom to add a personal preference to the review, allowing them to voice the final score on overall merit rather than as a culmination of the constituent parts.
