TF2 GoldRush Update mini review: By Smiles

This is my Review for TF2 Goldrush new update for the PC

Valve has Upgraded TF2, by putting in a new map, different sounds when Demoman and Heavy taunt and 39 new Medic Achievements. The new map is wicked and much Different to every map but Dustbowl, (you might know another one it's like) it is the same as Dustbowl, and I'll tell you how. There are three Stages,(like in Dustbowl) and BLU team wins if they win all three Stages. At the end of a stage, it's the same map, but different layout, but it's not like any other map because there's a bomb instead of the Intelligence or you having to capture the flag. Now I said ‘you' because there are Control point's, but you don't capture them, the only way you can is by going near the bomb it make it move along the track, and when it pass's the Control point, it will Immediately cap that point and that point will be yours, however, if BLU Team don't go near the bomb for 30 seconds, it's starts to roll backwards on the track. Also, if RED team go near the bomb when BLU team are near it, it will stop moving. Ohh very important thing, BLU Team must push the bomb to the control points to win, and RED must defend the Control points.

The bomb can also give you health and Ammo and the more BLU Team near it, the faster the bomb moves, but it is easer for you all to die because if you go down a narrow tunnel, and there's Stickys on the wall, if you are all crowded round each other, and the Stickys Detonate, you will all explode. (Accept the Demoman who made the Stickys)

The Bomb can't move were you want it to move, it has to follow a track (like a Train) and the new update has made all melee attacks different, accept the Heavy. The new Patch has totally changed the game, ohh yes, you can get better or stronger weapons by earning the Achievements in the Medic pack

Here's a rough list of some of the Medic Achievements:

  • Surgal Prep: have an UberCharge before the Setup ends
  • First do no harm: kill no enemys but have a higher score then 6 players or more on your team
  • Milstone1: earn 12 Achievements in the Medic Pack
  • Milstone2: earn 22 Achievements in the Medic pack
  • Milstone3: earn all the Achievements in the Medic pack
  • Chief Of Staff: earn 1Millon Healing points as Medic
  • Midwife Crisis: Heal an Engineer repairing his Sentry gun, while it's under attack
  • Family Practice: UberCharge 10Friends from your STEAM Community
  • Sawbones: hit enemys with your Bonesaw 5 times without Missing or Dieing
  • Bedside Manner: be healing a Teammate as he achieves and Achievement of his own
  • Blunt Drama: assist in punching two enemys on a single UberCharge on a Heavy
